Heirloom Baby Cabbage Hearts

Ingredients:
Cabbage
Olive Oil
Salt
Pepper

Slice the cabbage length ways down the center; yielding two pieces.
Place in a steamer. Steam until the thicker end is fork tender.
Drizzle with Olive oil. Salt and pepper to taste.

You can also braise the cabbage hearts in a covered frying pan. Sautee garlic in olive oil, add split cabbage hearts on low to medium heat, cover and wait until cabbage is a bit browned. Add a tiny bit of liquid if needed as cabbage cooks.
