Ingredients: 1 6-8# Turkey
3 Large Red Apples--cored and
cut into quarters
2C Raisins
1 Head Whole Garlic--peeled
2 Cloves Garlic--peeled
2 Ripe Pears--Remove seeds and
cut into quarters
11/2 Onion
2T Flour
1 Large Aluminum Foil Roasting Pan
1 Large Roasting Bag Method: Heat Oven to 325
1. Remove the heart, liver, neck, etc from the turkey.
2. Rinse the turkey well, including the inner areas.
Remove any feathers.
3. On a large cutting board stuff the stomach cavity with
11/2 Pears, 21/2 Apples,1 Onion, Whole Head of
Garlic, and 11/2C Raisins.
4. Stuff the neck with 1/2 Pear, 1/2 Apple, 1/2 Raisins,
2 Cloves Garlic, and 1/2 Onion.
5. Put the flour into the Roasting Bag.
6. Carefully place the turkey into the
bag.
7. Place turkey in roasting bag into
the foil roasting pan.
8. Make 2-3 small slits in the roasting bag.
9. Cook 4-5 hours or until done.
10. When done remove from oven and let
rest for 20-30 minutes.
11. Carve as desired.
