Easy Squash Casserole

Onions | Squash, Yellow | Squash, Zucchini |
Ingredients:
7 small squash and/or zuchinni (sliced)
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup butter, cut into pats
2 eggs, beaten
1 small white onion
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons white sugar
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
4-6 slices toasted bread - diced

Method:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add squash and cook until tender but still firm, about 15 minutes; drain. Add milk, butter, eggs, onion, salt, pepper and sugar to the squash pot; mix well. Transfer to a 9x13 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle with cheese and diced bread "crumbs". Bake for 30 minutes.
