Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Beans
Aug 2, 2012 at 9:25 pm |
Beans | Bacon | Seasoning | Garlic | Rosemary |
I tried asparagus beans for the first time, and I really liked this simple recipe. I don't eat pork, but pork bacon could be used instead of turkey bacon if desired. I use Mrs. Dash to season the beans, but garlic and rosemary can be used instead.

Ingredients:
~1/2 lb of asparagus beans
salt
pepper
seasonings (garlic powder, rosemary, etc.)
turkey bacon (or pork if you prefer)

1. Preheat oven to 350° and line a shallow baking pan with foil.
2. Wash and dry asparagus beans and snap beans in half.
4. Drizzle beans with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and whatever other seasonings you'd like.
5. Wrap each bean with a slice of bacon and place in foil lined pan.
6. Bake for 20 minutes.
