Turnip (with greens) and meat

Ingredients

1 bunch turnips with greens
2 lbs meat (beef, goat, lamb)
1 medium onion
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp garlic
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chilli/cayenne powder
Salt to taste

Instructions

Peel the turnips and chop into little pieces. Chop the leaves also into little pieces. In olive oil fry sliced onions until golden. Then add ginger/garlic and meat and fry until the meat turns white. Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli/cayenne powder and salt and fry with the meat for a couple of minutes. Then add turnips and turnip greens and mix with the meat. Add 1/8 cup of water and cover and leave on low until the meat is tender.
