We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

	Sticky Ginger Soy Chicken with Baby Bok Choy Tender Joyce chicken thighs and drumsticks coated in a glossy, sweet-and-savory ginger-soy glaze, served alongside sautéed local baby bok choy and fluffy jasmine rice. Fresh garlic, ginger, and a touch of honey give this dish its bold flavor, while sesame seeds and scallions provide a delicious finishing touch. $3.50 per serving
	Thai Basil Beef with Peppers and Peanuts Super easy Thai style beef dish with plenty of flavor and fresh, bright ingredients! The dish comes together in no time, serve it over rice, in lettuce wraps, or with noodles! You control the spice of the chilies, and can even portion them out according to each plates preference. $3.50 per serving
	Coconut Curry with Sweet Potatoes, Chickpeas & Kale This vibrant coconut curry combines tender local, sweet potatoes, hearty chickpeas, and fresh local, Lacinato kale in a fragrant, creamy sauce. Ginger, garlic, curry spices, and coconut milk create layers of warming flavor, while a squeeze of fresh lime adds a bright finish. Served over fluffy basmati rice, it is a satisfying, plant-based dinner perfect for chilly fall evenings. $3.50 per serving
	Football Season Guacamole This simple dip is always a favorite, and super easy to prepare. Just grab a bag of chips and sit down with a few friends or family members for a delicious treat before, during, and after the big game! $3.50 per serving
	Hungarian Mushroom Soup This mushroom soup is full of flavor and super easy to make! The rich broth comes together beautifully with fresh mushrooms and paprika, and is brightened and balanced by fresh herbs and lemon juice! 	Classic Homemade Meatloaf This classic homemade meatloaf recipe is everything that a good meatloaf should be! Fresh bread crumbs keep the loaf from becoming getting too dense, for the perfect tender consistency!
