Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

This Week's Menu:

	Baked Grits with Smoked Sausage and Greens This easy to make casserole, elevates traditional stone-ground Southern grits with delicious, seasonal flavors! The grits are combined with smoked sausage, cheddar cheese, green kale, and green onion. Baked in the oven for about 35 minutes, you have a delicious fall meal perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner! $3.50 per serving
	Hungarian Mushroom Soup This mushroom soup is full of flavor and super easy to make! The rich broth comes together beautifully with fresh mushrooms and paprika, and is brightened and balanced by fresh herbs and lemon juice! Top it off with a dollop of sour cream for a delicious soup any night of the week! $3.50 per serving
	Mexican Black Bean & Quinoa Bowl with Chile Cilantro Sauce This one rounds the bases! Healthy, filling, easy, attractive, you cant go wrong with vegetarian! This Black Bean and Quinoa bowl is bursting with flavor. The dressing is fantastic, and worth keeping around on its own! $3.50 per serving
	Grilled Chicken Kebabs Joyce Farms chicken breast tenders are marinated in a delicious herb mix, then skewered with bell pepper and onion for a delicious grilled kebab! These kebabs are super easy to put together, and are bursting with flavor. A perfect meal for a fall evening! $2.44 per serving
	Grilled Caribbean Jerk Chicken The perfect dish to get outside and fire up the grill on a cool fall evening! Joyce chicken thighs and drumsticks marinate in a delicious jerk spice mix that will bring you back to the flavor of islands! 	Beef Kofta Kebabs with Homemade Tzatziki Beef kofta is a dish popular in the Middle East and surrounding areas. It consists of minced meat, mixed with a delicious spice mix, fresh herbs, and served on a skewer! Our version features ground beef from Firsthand Foods, and is served alongside a creamy, homemade Tzatziki sauce! Serve Kofta Kebabs along with a side of rice or sauteed vegetables!
