• Papa Spud's will deliver your box on your designated delivery day. If you love it, you can continue as a part of our community! If it is not a good fit, you can cancel your account at anytime. We send out weekly reminders, so you will not forget. Easy as that!

Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

	Slow Cooker Chicken Burrito Bowls Its always a great time of year to whip out the slow cooker. Do a little prep in the morning, then the slow cooker does the rest of the work! Ingredients mix and meld beautifully for a spice packed burrito bowl dish that makes a healthy, delicious weeknight dinner with just a few minutes of prep work. Serve burrito bowls with a variety of toppings. Leftovers can be wrapped in tortillas for a lunch on the go, or enjoyed over nachos. $3.50 per serving
	Mediterranean Lemon Chicken Soup This delicious soup is light and healthy, but still hearty enough to fill your belly on a cool fall evening! Combine it with a fresh salad or healthy sandwich for a delicious meal that will work for any night of the week! $3.50 per serving
	Picadillo de Abuela Picadillo is a flavorful and hearty dish commonly found in Latin American and Caribbean cuisine. This savory-sweet beef stew, is made with local ground beef from Firsthand Foods, onions, garlic, tomatoes, carrots, raisins, and olives for a sweet/briny twist! The flavors are perfectly balanced, creating a delicious but easy meal for anytime of year! Picadillo is versatile and can be served over rice, in tacos, or as a filling for empanadas, making it a beloved comfort food across various cultures! $3.50 per serving
	Irish Bangers and Mash Bangers and Mash is a traditional dish from Britain and Ireland. Our version consists of local, pasture-raised Pork Bratwurst from Firsthand Foods, cooked with onions and beer, and served over red skin mashed potatoes with onion gravy! A delicious dish, full of comfort and Irish cheer! $3.50 per serving
	Black Eyed Pea Stew with Veggies and Bacon This healthy bean stew is packed full of flavor and vegetables! Black eyed peas are cooked with plenty of fresh vegetables and herbs. Add in some bacon if you would like, or skip it for a vegetarian meal. Top it all off with chopped parsley for freshness. A beautiful, healthy, easy dish, that the whole family will enjoy! $3.50 per serving
