We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

	Mediterranean Couscous Salad This vibrant Mediterranean couscous salad is a refreshing blend of flavors and textures, a perfect taste of the summer harvest season! Tender, pearl-like couscous forms the base, while juicy grape tomatoes and crisp cucumbers add a burst of freshness. Fragrant mint and dill elevate the dish with bright, herbaceous notes, creating a light yet satisfying salad. Tossed with a simple lemon dressing, this Mediterranean-inspired dish is both refreshing and delicious. Serve as a side or top it with your favorite protein for a full meal! $3.50 per serving
	Sweet Corn Chowder A fresh corn chowder loaded with veggies! Sweet corn is combined with onion, carrots, celery, and hearty red potatoes for a dish that is easy to put together but full of flavor. Top it all off with green onions and crumble bacon (optional) for a crowd pleasing chowder, that is delicious for any time of year! $3.50 per serving
	Mediterranean Stuffed Squash This dish is a super easy, vegetarian meal or side that the whole family will love! Scoop out the insides of the squash, and saute with butter, onion, and garlic. Then combine the "stuffing" with feta and mozzarella cheese, fresh herbs, and an egg to hold it all together. Fill the squash shells up with the stuffing and roast in the oven. A delicious and healthy meal, easy to make, and very affordable! $3.50 per serving
	Chicken and Mushroom Ramen Ramen is a popular Japanese noodle dish, packed full of flavor! Our version starts with a flavorful ginger, sesame, and soy broth, combine with shredded chicken, carrots, aromatic green onions, and plenty of umami cremini mushrooms. Serve it all over a bowl of noodles, for a perfect meal any night of the week! $3.50 per serving
	Grilled Chicken Kebabs Joyce Farms chicken breast tenders are marinated in a delicious herb mix, then skewered with bell pepper and onion for a delicious grilled kebab! These kebabs are super easy to put together, and are bursting with flavor. A perfect meal for a summer evening! $2.44 per serving
	Andouille Frittata Start your summer morning with a hearty taste of North Carolina! Our Andouille Frittata features flavorful local Andouille sausage from Firsthand Foods paired with tender local potatoes for a delicious, farm-fresh twist on a classic breakfast.
