1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Delicious! I used kosher salt and 1/4t cayenne with the recommended amounts of sugar, chili powder, and cinnamon. This gave just a hint of spice without being too hot for my 4- and 6-year-old kids to handle. For myself, I'd use the full 1/2t of cayenne-I like the heat! FYI, this recipe made about 50 cookies when I rolled 1" balls. My dough was really sticky so I chilled it before rolling. I had to bake them 11-12 minutes, just till they were set.
