Basic Strawberry Sauce

Ingredients:
2QT Fresh Strawberries
1-2C Sugar
Water to cover Strawberries

Food Mill
Method:
1. Wash, hull and cut Strawberries into pieces.
2. In a large pot add Strawberries and Sugar.
3. Cover with water.
4. Cook until water is reduced by half. Add sugar and/or water as needed.
For a thicker sauce use less water. For a thinner sauce use more water.
5. Let cool slightly.
6. When cool, run through a food mill.
Serve warm or cold.
