Fresh Pasta Cooking Instructions

The fresh pasta from Melina's Fresh Pasta, can be cooked according to the following guidelines. Like dried pasta, it always helps to monitor closely as cook times can vary depending on your tastes and individual conditions, but these cook times provide a good base:

Fettuccine (cut pastas): 2-3 minutes

Gnocchi: boil until they float (2-3 minutes)

Ravioli: 5-7 minutes

*This week's ravioli flavor is Lemon Ricotta.
Carmella suggests serving this ravioli with simple melted butter, brown butter, or olive oil, which will not overpower the delicate and light flavors of the ravioli. Remove ravioli from water carefully with a spoon. It is not advisable to dump them into a colander as they are delicate and may burst.
