Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

This Week's Menu:

	Hibachi Chicken and Veggies This Japanese-inspired dish served with fried rice and sauteed veggies is even better than takeout! Joyce chicken breasts are marinated in a hoisin, ginger, sesame, and soy stir fry sauce, then sauteed to a golden brown. Add in carrot, mushrooms, onion, and zucchini, and serve it all alongside homemade fried rice. Top it all off with a creamy mustard sauce. This dish features tons of flavors, but comes together very quickly, all in just one pan! A professional and delicious dish you will come back to over and over again! $3.50 per serving
	Thai Basil Beef with Peppers and Peanuts Super easy Thai style beef dish with plenty of flavor and fresh, bright ingredients! The dish comes together in no time, serve it over rice, in lettuce wraps, or with noodles! You control the spice of the chilies, and can even portion them out according to each plates preference. $3.50 per serving
	Spring Spaghetti with Italian Sausage & Green Kale This dish comes together so quickly, with minimal cleanup, it is perfect for any night of the week! We start with the Italian sausage, for a satisfying, meaty base. But then lighten it up with a piccata style lemon and caper sauce, mixed with fresh kale. Top it all off with parmesan cheese and a few grinds of black pepper for garnish! $3.50 per serving
	Roasted Carrot & Lentil Salad with Cashew Dressing Sweet roasted carrots are mixed with satisfying lentils and crisp greens. Top it off with a creamy cashew dressing, for a super healthy dish that is light but filling at the same time! $3.50 per serving
	Sausage, Green Bean, and Alfredo Sheet Pan Meal Super easy and delicious sheet pan meal for fall! Sweet Italian sausage from Firsthand foods is combined with freshly picked, local green beans. Sheet pan meals have a tendency to come out dry, so we drizzle over a homemade Alfredo sauce - once you see how easy it is, you will never purchase store bought Alfredo sauce again! Top it all off with plenty of gooey mozzarella cheese, and everyone will be going back for second helpings! $3.50 per serving
