Support Local Farmers:

We work directly with local, NC farmers to deliver the freshest food from their fields to your door!

• Unlike national brands that ship produce around the country from large agricultural operations, we work directly with the small farmers in our area. Many of the same farmers you see out at local markets. They harvest fresh for us every week, and we carefully pack your box the same day that you receive it. We use our own delivery vehicles and staff to keep everything fresh, safe, and handled with care. This is how local is supposed to work!

Aside from fresher, higher quality food, one of the big benefits of ordering food while it is still in the fields is the ability to coordinate meals based on your weekly needs and desires! Every week we compile a list of suggested recipes and meals that you can order for the upcoming week. Papa Spud's portions out the fresh items from our farm partners, or anything else that you do not have on hand, so that you get meals ready to cook, without any excess or waste. It is a much more efficient system that saves everyone money, avoids trips to the grocery store, and also helps local farms prepare for upcoming demand and needs!

	Baked Shells and Cheese with Sausage and Greens Its always the right time of year for comfort food! Firsthand foods spicy Italian sausage is combined with local green kale from Wise Farm, and mixed into creamy shells and cheese. Top it all off with fresh sage and transfer to the oven for a delicious meal that the whole family will love! $3.50 per serving
	Greek Meatballs with Lemony Dill Baked Rice This Greek inspired beef and veggie dish is bursting with harvest season freshness! The meatballs are packed with fresh mint and lemon zest for freshness. The rice cooks in the same pan, to minimize clean up. Then add in farm fresh zucchini, cherry tomatoes, and plenty of dill and lemon juice! This dish is super easy, yet well balanced, and packed full of flavor! $3.50 per serving
	Grilled Chicken Kebabs Joyce Farms chicken breast tenders are marinated in a delicious herb mix, then skewered with bell pepper and onion for a delicious grilled kebab! These kebabs are super easy to put together, and are bursting with flavor. A perfect meal for a summer evening! $2.44 per serving
	Summer Butter Bean and Basil Pesto, with Tomatoes over Pasta This vibrant pasta dish puts a fresh twist on classic basil pesto by swapping traditional nuts for creamy butter beans, creating a silky, protein-rich sauce with a mellow, nutty undertone. 	Slow Cooker Creamy Potato Soup Perfect for any time of year, this thick and creamy potato soup is super easy to prepare, and packed full of flavor! Potatoes, spices, fresh herbs, cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon will keep everyone in the family satisfied! Set the slow cooker on low for about ~7 hours cook time, or speed it up on high for a ~4 hour cook time - either way, you can set it and forget it until it is time for dinner! $3.50 per serving
