On the order page this week, we have shelled butter beans available from the Roberts Family Farm. Fresh green Butter Beans are a true southern delight. Also known as baby lima beans, they have a luscious creamy texture and keep their pretty green color when cooked. Butter beans are typically shelled and cooked fresh during the summer and can be frozen for use the rest of the year. Serve them with fried chicken, sliced tomatoes, and cornbread for a truly southern meal!
