We have Kohlrabi from Lee's Produce on the order page this week! Although Kohlrabi has been described as looking a bit like a space alien, it is actually a member of the cabbage family. Kohlrabi features a bulb that grows above ground with stems that project outward. When cooking with Kohlrabi, the bulbs should be peeled until you reach the light layer of crisp flesh. This flesh has a sweet, but peppery flavor. Although Kohlrabi is often used in salads, there are many other ways to prepare it!
