Surprise! North Carolina freestone peaches are back on the list for next week! We are very excited to have one last week of peaches on the list for next week from Deal Orchards in Taylorsville, NC. The variety is called "Last Chance", appropriately named as this truly is the last chance to enjoy, fresh North Carolina peaches! The peach is a late season peach, but is still considered a good out-of-hand eating peach variety. However, Last Chance Peaches also have a good solid consistency, making them a good candidate for baked goods, or enjoy them after the season ends by canning or freezing them. This is your Last Chance, enjoy it!
