We have a nice hydroponic version from Coastal Plains Produce on the list for next week! Arugula, also known as "salad rocket" is a zippy leafy green with a pungent, spicy flavor. Arugula can be added to other greens in a salad or paired with fruit in a salad. The peppery, pungent flavor of arugula complements the sweetness of the fruit. Although arugula is great in salads, try adding arugula to pastas, grains, and soups, or blend it into a delicious spicy pesto! Add arugula leaves to sandwiches in place of other, less flavorful greens!
