We have a nice bumper crop of organic Green Bell Peppers coming in from Red Hawk Farm for next week. The colder temperatures mean they need to come out of the fields, and are available at a great discount, just $2.00 per pound!

Dip slices of green bell pepper in low-fat ranch dressing or hummus for a tasty and nutritious snack. Add chopped bell peppers to spaghetti sauce or your favorite lasagna recipe. Stir chopped green bell peppers into scrambled eggs or layer slices of the pepper onto a turkey or chicken sandwich. Include green bell peppers in vegetable, chicken noodle or minestrone soup. Green peppers are a great complement to a bowl of chili. Scatter pieces of raw green bell pepper over a tossed green salad or add to pasta salad for some extra color!
