We have a special price on Black Drum fish fillets from Haag & Sons this week! Black Drum is a close cousin of Red Drum and has a mild, sweet flavor with firm, white flesh and large, moist flakes. It is comparable to Red Snapper and cooks up to pure white. Pan fried Black Drum (Cast Iron Black Drum recipe below) seasoned with lemon is delicious by itself, but if you really want to embellish the experience, you can top it with shrimp, crabmeat, shallots, or mushrooms!
