North Carolina strawberry season is finally here! We have the first local field strawberries of the season on the order page this week.You can buy strawberries year round, but the best strawberries are the ones you get locally during those few brief week that they're in season! Commercial strawberry cultivars are bred to be firmer and heartier so that they'll stand up to shipping, but there is no comparison when it comes to flavor and sweetness. Local is best!
