Pie Pumpkins


Although all pumpkins can be used for baking or cooking, pie pumpkins have a lighter weight and sweeter flesh. They make wonderful pies, but can also be steamed, boiled, roasted, sautéed, and used in soups, curries, as a side and in baking bread or cookies. The seeds can also be roasted.
